Deadlocking Nightlatch Yale P89 Nightlatch can be Deadlocked from outside the property using the keys, ideal if the property is left unattended for long periods of time. The internal handle and snib button provides a convenient way to operate the lock from inside the property. Quality lock specification Yale P89 latch bolt is immediately engaged as soon as you close the door. The latch bolt can be held back temporarily using simple snib button, in case you need to leave the door open whilst bringing in the shopping. The internal handle is used to operate the lock from the inside and can be deadlocked by the snib lock button for additional overnight security. The external five pin rim cylinder lock is manufactured to a good specification, is tested for resistance to corrosion and a minimum of 100,000 usage cycles.
